Contenders for the Faith is a club for boys that teaches manly skills and prepares boys to be godly, well-rounded, capable men. Contenders is a Bible-based program that gives boys a Christ-centered alternative to the world’s definition of a man.

For the past several summers, several families have met on Tuesday night at the grass fields south of the flower gardens and north of the pond at Noelridge Park. There, fathers and sons divide into teams based on age and ability, and play baseball from about 6:30 to 8:00. The competition is casual, with emphasis on learning the game, improving skills, and having fun.

Pack up your sons, stop at your favorite fast-food breakfast joint and pickup a carryout breakfast, then meet with other fathers and sons as we fellowship around the scrumptious food. Following breakfast, we'll petition our heavenly father.

The Cedar Rapids Area Homeschool Choir is an independent choir for area homeschooled students. The purposes of the choir include:

• Providing homeschooled students an opportunity to sing sacred and patriotic choral music in a variety of choral styles
• Providing homeschooled students an avenue for choral concerts
• Encouraging a love for music
  

Keepers at Home is a club for girls that teaches God's design for a feminine Christian woman and prepares girls to be helpmeets and mothers. Keepers at Home is a Bible-based program that gives girls a Christ-centered alternative to the world's definition of a woman.

Meet with other homeschooling moms for a night of refreshment, challenge, and prayer.

During the summer months, families get together for play dates at various city parks.
